SCSA Meetings

SCSA is a volunteer run organization. The involvement of members in managing, maintaining, and improving the SCSA facilities and activities is what makes SCSA work. All members are encouraged to attend and participate in the Annual SCSA Meeting each January and the monthly Executive Committee Meetings.

The Annual SCSA Meeting is conducted to update the membership on what has happened at SCSA during the previous year and what is planned for the coming year. SCSA Officers are elected at the Annual Meetings by a vote of all members present. The SCSA Annual Meeting is held at the SCSA Clubhouse at 89 Keystone Road and typically includes a free dinner served to all attendees prior to the meeting presentations and actions.

The monthly SCSA Executive Committee Meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month (except January) at 7 PM. These meetings are conducted to manage the operation of SCSA including planning of activities, finances and budgets, facilities improvements, forming and reporting of sub-committees pursuing SCSA interests, nomination of SCSA Officers, and all else SCSA. The SCSA Directors give a report at each meeting detailing happenings and plans associated with their respective ranges/activities. The Executive Committee is made up of the SCSA Officers who serve a one-year term and are elected annually at the SCSA Annual Meeting.
